Great Gatsby Dress, watercolor

I was inspired by The Great Gatsby. This dress symbolizes by the green light perpetually shining across the bay that represented Gatsby’s love for Daisy. Much like his vision of her, I created the dress to represent his yearning for her, the idea of her as something more, a beautiful object perched on a pedestal.
